Explore the grand old property of Chapel Farm in a Swan Valley winery tour with d’Vine Wine Tours. Chapel Farm was settled more than 100 years ago by some of the region’s first immigrants from Ireland. A beautiful Victorian homestead is the centrepiece, which is shaded by an enormous century-old Sugar Gum tree.
Owner Darren Walker acquired the farm in 2000 and has built three dining areas, planted gorgeous landscaped gardens and even constructed a lake complete with waterfalls. The old stables have been transformed into a luxurious adult retreat, and the recently refurbished homestead is now a stylish tap house and tapas bar.
The property is also home to Amigo and Salvado (the Alpacas), a Donkey called Cinderella and a dog called Atlas. There are plenty of original art pieces to stumble upon in the gardens, as well as a gallery with items for purchase.
